We are a community growing project, based in Stanmer Park, Brighton, which is part of The Brighton and Hove Food Partnership's Wellbeing Gardens. With a small orchard and forest garden, established herbaceous borders and beneficial wild plants, our plot is a peaceful oasis on the edge of the city and a small haven for local biodiversity.Learn More
What we do
We specialise in growing useful and edible plants, whilst supporting local biodiversity. We run regular family friendly and inclusive volunteer days, workshops and special events that facilitate engagement about food security, local biodiversity and resilient growing systems.
We produce organically grown, pesticide free edible flowers, salads, and herbs and fruits through the seasons.
We grow pesticide and peat free useful and pollinator friendly plants, which support wildlife and improve biodiversity.
We run regular volunteer days, workshops and special events to engage our community in local food and biodiversity.
We incorporate resilience into our growing system, with permaculture, forest gardening and regenerative agriculture.
